Design strategy for a care Consulting business
Project
My team and I were utilized to help create a design strategy for a consultant - specifically for the 245D license - to help community and home-based health providers. Our client wanted ways to reach out to potential clients as well as provide help with the confusing process of applying and maintaining compliance.

strategy statement
To keep our focus, my team created the following statement:
All user experience touch-points for the Client will help Applicants and Providers
to feel at ease and confident so that they are able to successfully obtain and maintain their 245D license to provide quality care for their community without out the fear of corrective actions, audits, or losing their license.
We will do this by focusing on using a warm and welcoming approach that serves both tech-savvy and not tech-savvy applicants and providers.
As a result we hope to see an improvement in the visibility of important steps to obtain and maintain a 245D license through an increase of approved applications and renewed licenses.

PROTOTYPES
Don’t forget the non-tech savvy
I was personally responsible to create the prototypes that concentrated on the non-tech savvy providers. To do this I focused on two areas. First, a storyboard where a user came across marketing for our client on a more tangible level - through signage and pamphlets. Second, I looked towards their first contact with the website and wanted to keep things simple and straightforward, while starting to introduce them to more of the needed information.
I created the persona, Gael, to join her on her journey of discovery on that more tangible level shown in the storyboard below.
More tangible concepts for marketing, like signage for use outside of facilities like community centers, will provide a touchpoint for potential providers that are not tech-savvy.
Progression of the landing page design concept. I wanted to keep this a simple and straightforward start to filtering out what a new provider may need.

Below is the design progression of the free resources page - I kept it simple to help ease new providers into the world of what they will need to apply and maintain their 245D license.

Introducing the non-tech savvy providers to the website will require simplicity and friendliness to help them begin to navigate the complicated process. The two main parts of this will be the initial landing on the website and the introduction to the consultant. There will be the ability to contact the consultant directly from there, as well as find some free resources in case the user attempts to continue on their own.
Gathering the teams research to create a thoughtout strategy for our client.
After my team did a deep dive into the various research areas we met up to come up with a cohesive strategy for our client. We put together the various ideas and implemented them into prototypes so that we could present the idea in a business strategy video. We want the client to move forward with these ideas concentrating first on ways for potential providers to be able to contact our client. the idea would be to first create an online presence through means of facebook, tiktok and other social media. Once that is out there a personalized website should be made and slowly implement the ideas we present.
Care Consulting business strategy video
My team had the opportunity create a design strategy for the a consulting business concept that is hoped to be started within the year. Below is a video directed toward our client to give them a glimpse into what is possible.
what are the next steps?
A strategy has now been established
First things first, there is a need for a simple website with a point of contact. This way any potential clients that may need consultation may begin to do so.
Then we can move forward and begin to implement the following parts of the strategy:
email funnel
onboarding quiz
social media
old school media
